SHREEK EL SHELSH

Shrik el Shelsh is a program that aims at both cultivating abandoned agricultural fields and creating job opportunities. It is designed to ensure food sovereignty for the Lebanese through agriculture; to secure a sustainable future for food, nature and rural communities; and to provide the Lebanese citizens in urban areas with the opportunity to safeguard their land and heritage.

How We Help

We will cultivate abandoned agricultural lands in exchange for a portion of the harvest. The rest of the harvest will be given to the owner of the land. Through this process, we will be creating employment opportunities for farmers, providing income for landowners and food for Lebanese citizens.

We will cultivate land in Lassa, Zaarour, Safra, Deir El Ahmar, Ouyoun Ourghoush, Chekka and Koura regions
